The Center for Civic Engagement will be sponsoring its first annual Alternative Mini-Break trip from Oct. 5-8 in various locations throughout Western NY. Any students interested in participating in a unique and meaningful mini-break opportunity should complete

No cost to participate in the trip. Students will be expected to provide their own meals during the break.
Volunteers will be working with Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County on Saturday, October 5th. Volunteers help with all aspects of the build and no experience is required to work on site.
Volunteers will travel to the Foodlink, Central & Western New York’s largest food bank, on Tuesday October 8th where they will work in their warehouse.
